Meet The Teacher
My name is Alison Sheridan and this is my fourth year teaching in Reception. I have previously taught from Reception to Year 3 within the school but my heart is really with the youngest children. I have 2 children of my own, Joe aged 5 and Jack aged 8, so I know only too well about the challenges that starting school presents. My boys keep me very busy when I'm not at school, both playing football for local teams. Consequently my weekends are usually spent on the side-lines of a football pitch, cheering and supporting the teams and shivering in my wooly hat and thermals!!!!.
I have 2 cats and a dog ( and a husband!!) so my home is very lively not to mention noisy!!! But I wouldn't have it any other way. When I do get a moment to myself, I enjoy watching films; glass of wine in one hand and box of choccies in the other.
