Meet Mrs. Mitchell
Hello,
I have been teaching at this school for over twenty years now. I started when my children were young, liked it so much that I decided to stay. I have taught in Key Stage 2 for many years and particularly enjoy working in Year 3. This year I am looking forward to working with Miss Bell but also having the opportunity to teach Music throughout the school.
I really enjoy singing and belong to a Barbershop Chorus called Rhapsody UK. We recently came runners up in the Peterborough's Got Talent competition. Needless to say I am keen to develop the singing in the school and have to say that the children are absolutely fantastic! Visitors frequently comment on the high standard of singing throughout the school.
I am very approachable so feel free to come and see me if you have any queries about class routines. I will always make the time to discuss any issues with you. No doubt your children will tell you that I like cats! I am really looking forward to getting to know my new class and their parents.
