Celebration Feast
On the last day of term, Friday March 26th, the whole school celebrated with a Roman style feast. Staff entered into the spirit of the occasion and dressed up in togas and served the children pottage( a type of vegetable stew), home made bread and fruit cake. All the food had been prepared by the children during the week.Great fun was had by all and the children will certainly remember the end to their theme, "Who Was Here First?"
Throughout the term the school has reflected the hard work that the children have put into their learning, with artistic displays all along the corridors. It has been an interesting and exciting time for them and they have certainly learnt a lot about some of the early invaders and settlers.
