Summer Term 2013
Winter Weather
While every effort will be made to keep the School open during bad weather conditions, sometimes it will be considered safer to close if insufficient staff are able to travel in or if conditions at School are dangerous. Occasionally other problems, for example water being cut off or heating failure, will mean the School has to close.
Thank you for your co-operation

Spring Term 2013
Our first day of both the Spring term and the new Year opened with a whole school assembly focusing on the meaning of Christmas and children's experiences during the holidays, including an Italian Christmas party.
All the children put their hands up to say that they had had a good holiday and were glad to be back at School as well as pleased to see the sun shining.
Songs sung during the assembly were Be a Friend to the Friendless, In a Funny Kind of Way and Light of the World. These talked about being friends, being proud to be unique and asking for the light of the world to shine on us and illuminate our way.
We talked about feelings of both giving and receiving gifts. The Children explained how they were excited about what they might receive and how they were also excited at seeing they joy on others faces when receiving gifts the children gave. Afterwards they shared some of the surprises they had during the holidays too and told us that Christmas was all about love and sharing.
